The national Miss Gay America contest was created in 1972 establishing its winner as the “symbol of EXCELLENCE” in the art of female impersonation for over 50 years. The Miss Gay Oklahoma America pageant is a direct preliminary to the national pageant, has crowned 46 titleholders since 1978, and seen 2 of the wonderful individuals residing in the great state of Oklahoma represent us as the national Miss Gay America.
