"Scott's talk was fascinating! I learned stuff I never knew before - and I was there!" - Peter Asher: Grammy-Winning Producer/Artist
About the Show
The Beatles’ album Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band is one of the high points of the Beatles’ career, as well as one of the most influential songs in all of popular music. Composer, producer and Beatles expert Scott Freiman takes music fans young and old on a magical tour through this masterpiece in “Deconstructing Sgt. Pepper,” a 90-minute, in-depth look at the Beatles’ creative process.
“As a composer and producer, I have always been fascinated by the Beatles innovations in songwriting and recording,” said Freiman. “It is truly exciting to listen to songs we know so well evolve in the studio. There’s a reason why the Beatles’ music continues to strike a chord with new generations of fans, 40 years after their last recording.”
Using rare audio and video clips, as well as anecdotes about the creation of the songs, “Deconstructing Sgt. Pepper” explores the groundbreaking production techniques that went into producing this landmark piece of music history.
