The Civic Center’s main performance hall seats 2,477 and hosts a wide variety of events from traditional Broadway and symphonic performances, to speaker seminars, graduations and fashion shows. Thanks to a  2001 renovation project, the theatre, which is designed as a "building within a building," is architecturally and acoustically isolated from the original 1936 building structure. The theatre is fitted with a symphony shell that can be acoustically adjusted for amplified and non-amplified shows. The theatre's design is an adaptation of the classic shoebox pattern. This world-class performance space features a proscenium stage that opens to an elegant auditorium of prominent box seats, three-tiered plush seating, excellent sight lines and acoustical superiority.

Featuring state-of-the art lighting, acoustics and sound technology, the Thelma Gaylord Performing Arts Theatre is capable of facilitating a full range of performances, from productions of a smaller scale to the grandest scope. The auditorium is ideal for Broadway shows. theatre, dance, opera, symphonic music, films, meetings, services and music concerts.

The soaring
Rose State College Performing Arts Theatre in Midwest City, Oklahoma, is the perfect venue for productions seating 1,400 or less.The acoustically-superb, nearly new facility is well-suited for a variety of performances including live concerts, recitals, musical productions, plus other cultural and educational events. Recent improvements to the theatre include a theatrical system lighting upgrade in 2011, and a half-million sound renovation in 2012. 


Freede Little Theatre



The historic Freede Little Theatre offers seating for 286 and is the ideal venue for smaller-scale shows, recitals, movies and seminars. One of the last remaining hemp houses in the United States, the proscenium-style theatre features original 1930s Art Deco styling, plus new, enhanced production-ready dressing rooms. Located on the North side of the Civic Center Music Hall, this intimate space is the perfect setting for smaller groups.


CitySpace Theatre



Every seat is close to the stage in the Civic Center’s newest theatre, CitySpace. Located in the basement on the north end of the music hall, CitySpace is a 2,800 square foot, black-box theater – perfect for audiences of 100 or less. The space is extremely versatile and can be easily adapted to the artistic elements of any production.

Dazzle your guests with the Art Deco elegance of the Meinders Hall of Mirrors. This grand historic ballroom on the Grand Tier level of the Civic Center Music Hall boasts original 1930s architectural styling and elegance. The 5,000 square foot room, with breathtaking views of the downtown skyline, makes for an inviting and functional space for receptions, meetings, fundraisers or proms. Parquet wood floors throughout the room allow for flexible seating models, and a built-in stage with staircase is the perfect place for presentations or entertainment.

The Hall of Mirrors can host up to 300 guests seated at tables, or up to 500 seated theatre-style. The room layout can be custom-designed to exact event specifications. Open catering is allowed. The room rental fee includes all tables and chairs, plus set-up, break down, clean-up and liability insurance. Security may be required for some events. The rental time frame is 12 hours (12 noon to 12 midnight).

Book your daytime event and enjoy the lush green lawn underfoot and blue skies overhead or book your evening event and be dazzled under the stars in the warm glow of soft accent lighting. Rest assured that with electrical and water access, we have the amenities to make your event a success.

Joel Levine Rehearsal Hall

Tucked away in a far corner of the Civic Center Music Hall rests one of the City's most intimate event venues, the Joel Levine Rehearsal Hall. Built as a rehearsal space for main stage performances, this 3,100 square foot room with 20' foot ceilings, is acoustically designed to provide excellent sound quality for business meetings or more formal events. The room's simplistic styling, complete with professional grade wood flooring and alcove window seats, makes for a simple, modern space for events of any scope. Lush, midnight blue drapery frames the room in sophistication and style. Immense windows bathe the room in natural light during daytime hours. The rehearsal hall can seat up to 100 guests (150 for standing only receptions). Tables and chairs are included in the rental price, as well as set-up, break down, clean-up and general liability insurance. Perfect for corporate retreats or business meetings, recitals, small concerts or pre-event receptions. Limited evening availability.
