“We have combined science, music, food, and a few other things no one in his right mind would allow me to do on TV, into a two hour extravaganza that’s fun for the whole family,” says Brown.  He has been cultivating the show’s material for about a decade and wrote most of the musical numbers which all take a comedic look at food.

Brown, author of seven books including the James Beard award winning “I’m Just Here for the Food” and New York Times bestselling sequence “Good Eats,” has hosted numerous food series including “Iron Chef America.”  He currently serves as host on the game show “Cutthroat Kitchen.”  Brown created, produced and hosted the Peabody award winning series “Good Eats” for 13 years on Food Network; Good Eats can still be seen on the Cooking Channel and Netflix.

Play (Oklahoma Premiere)- The music of techno giant Moby takes center stage with the ingenious choreography of Houston Ballet Artistic Director Stanton Welch in Play. Inspired by the crowded streets of urban life, the dancers in Play march, slide, scoot, and accelerate their motion with Cinematic sweep.

Dear Miss Cline (Oklahoma Premiere)- Amy Seiwert’s was first introduced in 2009 when she created her world premiere ballet Finding/Almost on the Company. Ms. Seiwert’s brilliant work returns in 2015 as the Company premieres Dear Miss Cline, an endearing ballet using the music of country superstar Patsy Cline originally choreographed for Smuin Ballet.

Nine Sinatra Songs (Company Premiere)- The headlining ballet of this memorable triple bill is Twyla Tharp’s Nine Sinatra Songs. The iconic choreographer Twyla Tharp choreographed Nine Sinatra Songs in 1982 to the incredible voice and timeless songs of Frank Sinatra.  When country a cappella band Home Free was crowned Season 4 Champions of NBC's The Sing Off this past December, their victory was by no means the beginnings of a career for the five country stars from Minnesota... rather it was a satisfying culmination of nearly a decade of hard work and commitment to a vocal craft growing in popularity.

Founded by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp during their college years in the early 2000s, Home Free had been perfecting their live show for years prior to The Sing Off- performing together for crowds in countless States and County Fairs, on college campuses, in front of Fortune 500 companies, and in theaters all across the country. It was their experience on the road that carried them to a Sing-Off victory, swelling their fan base and bringing their homegrown style into a national spotlight.
