“They're calling him the future of blues, but they're wrong - Joe Bonamassa is the present; so fresh and of his time that he almost defines it." - Classic Rock Magazine

“Bonamassa is the Barometer of just how far a Blues Rock Artist can go.” - Get Ready To Rock

Hailed worldwide as one of the greatest guitar players of his generation, Joe Bonamassa has almost single-handedly redefined the blues-rock genre and brought it into the mainstream.

This one-night-only engagement is in support of Bonamassa’s two most recent projects: live CD/DVD and CD/Blu-ray Set Live At Radio City Music Hall, recorded and filmed at New York’s most iconic and hallowed stage, and his first all original studio album, last year’s highly acclaimed Different Shades Of Blue which debuted at #8 on Billboard’s Top 200 and was Joe’s highest charting album, first top 10, and biggest sales week in his career.

Backed by a stellar band of legendary musicians including Anton Fig (drums), Michael Rhodes (bass), Reese Wynans (piano, Hammond organ), Lee Thornburg (trumpet, horn arrangements), Paulie Cerra (saxophone), and background singers to bring a whole new life to the show which will feature new songs alongside career-spanning favorites.

As Joe Bonamassa enters his 26th year as a professional musician, he continues to blaze a remarkably versatile artistic trail, and amass an authentic, innovative and soulful body of work. Bonamassa's career began onstage opening for B.B. King in 1989, when he was only 12 years old. Today, he is hailed worldwide as one of the greatest guitar players of his generation, and is an ever-evolving singer-songwriter who has released 17 solo albums in the last 15 years, all on his own label, J&R Adventures. He founded and oversees the non-profit Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation to promote the heritage of the blues to the next generation, fund music scholarships, and supplement the loss of music education in public schools. In 2013, Bonamassa earned his first GRAMMY ® nomination for Best Blues Album and in 2015 his fourteenth #1 Billboard Blues Album (more than any other artist) with the release of Muddy Wolf At Red Rocks. 2014’s new studio album Different Shades Of Blue debuted at #8 on Billboard's Top 200 and was his highest charting album, first top 10, and biggest sales week ever. In January 2016, he will complete another huge accomplishment when he headlines two shows at New York City's legendary Carnegie Hall with an All-Acoustic Set.

America's Band, The Beach Boys, featuring Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, will make a stop in Oklahoma City as part of their Summer Tour Kick Off to help raise money for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma "Food for Kids" program. All net proceeds raised from this show will be donated to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Guest staring, with The Beach Boys, will be Surf Rock Icon Dean Torrence of "Jan and Dean" fame.

The Beach Boys signed with Capitol Records in July 1962 and released their first album, Surfin' Safari, that same year. The album spent 37 weeks on the Billboard chart, launching the young group known for its shimmering vocal harmonies and relaxed California style into international stardom. The Wilson/Love collaboration resulted in many huge international chart hits, and under Brian Wilson's musical leadership, the band' initial surf-rock focus was soon broadened to include many other themes, helping make The Beach Boys America's preeminent band of the 1960s.

Impressively, The Beach Boys continue to hold Billboard / Nielsen SoundScan's record as the top-selling American band for albums and singles, and they are also the American group with the most Billboard Top 40 chart hits (36). 'Sounds of Summer: The Very Best Of The Beach Boys' has achieved triple-Platinum sales status and 'The SMiLE Sessions,' released to worldwide critical acclaim in November, has been heralded as 2011's #1 Reissue of the Year by Rolling Stone magazine.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and recipients of The Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award, The Beach Boys are a beloved American institution that remains iconic around the world.

Wednesday, June 22, 2016 - 8pm

Gordon Lightfoot was born on November 17, 1938 in Orillia, Ontario, Canada. His parents recognized and encouraged his interest in music; his first appearance at Massey Hall in Toronto, now a revered standard in his tour schedule, was just before he turned 13, as the winner of a competition for boys with unchanged voices.

After a background in barbershop quartets, and as a member of a duo, Lightfoot struck out on his own in the early 60s. He had written perhaps 75 songs, when he was caught up in the country music scene and folk revival of the time; Bob Dylan's music and a song by Merle Travis, Dark As A Dungeon, combined with his sensitivity, inventiveness and beautiful voice, resulted in his unique songwriting and singing style. In less than two years, between late '61 and sometime in 1963, his sound and his life changed forever.

For 40 years Penn & teller have defied labels-and at times physics and good taste -- by redefining the genre of magic and inventing their own very distinct niche in comedy.

With sold out runs on Broadway, world tours, Emmy-winning TV specials, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and hundreds of outrageous appearances on everything from Fallon to Friends, The Simpsons to Colbert, Modern Family to Top Chef, comedy's most enduring team show no signs of slowing down.

With an amazing eight wins, including 2015, as "Las Vegas Magicians of the Year," their 15-year run at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino makes them the longest running and one of the most-beloved headline acts in Las Vegas history, outselling every other resident magician on The Strip.

Their acclaimed Showtime series, Penn & Teller: BS! was nominated for 13 Emmys and is the longest-running series in the history of the network. The show tackled the fakes and frauds behind such topics as alien abduction, psychics and bottled water.

Currently they host the hit series Penn & Teller: Fool Us! for the CW Network, on which up-and-comers and magic veterans try to fool Penn & Teller for a chance to star in the duo's hit Las Vegas stage show.

Along the way, they've written New York Times Best-Sellers, hosted their own Emmy nominated variety show for FX, starred in their own specials for ABC, NBC and Comedy Central and produced the critically lauded feature film documentary The Aristocrats. Their acclaimed documentary, Tim's Vermeers, follows Texas-based inventor Tim Jenison on his quest to discover the methods used by Dutch Master Painter Johannes Vermeer. The Sony Pictures Classics film was nominated for a BAFTA and shortlisted for the 2014 Oscars.

Penn & Teller triumphantly returned to Broadway this past summer in a smash six-week long engagement that USA Today called, "Deliciously unsettling." It was the highest-grossing non-musical on Broadway for its entire run.
