Booster Seats Child booster seats are available FREE of charge for all shows taking place in the Thelma Gaylord Performing Arts Theatre. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning one hour prior to show time. Please visit the Guest Relations office located in the main lobby to pick up your seat. A driver’s license is required as collateral.
Café Coffee drinks, sandwiches, wraps, and desserts (including sugar-free!) are all on the menu at the Rich Beans Café, located off the Civic Center’s main lobby. It’s the perfect place for a light pre-show meal, or dessert during intermission. The café is open for all performances held in the Thelma Gaylord Theatre. Hours are: One hour prior to show time – intermission. You can even pre-order* your favorite drink or dessert before the show and it will be ready and waiting for you as intermission begins.
Concessions and Bar The Civic Center Music Hall offers a variety of concession items at multiple stands located in the lobby areas. Bottled soft drinks, water, candy and select packaged snacks are available. A lobby bar is also available at select shows for patrons 21 and older. The concession stands and lobby bar are open one hour prior to show time and remain open through intermission. Bottled beverages are premitted in the theatres for all performances. Bar beverages are permitted for select performances.

First Aid A certified EMT is on location for all events in the Thelma Gaylord theatre. Contact the nearest usher or staff member immediately if you have a medical emergency and need assistance.
Guest Relations Our Guest Relations office is happy to provide assistance to our patrons during each event held in the Civic Center Music Hall. The office opens one hour prior to each show time and serves as the pick-up location for booster seats and Assisted Listening Devices. The office serves as the Lost and Found drop-off location during performances.
Lost and Found Items left behind are collected after each show and taken to our Lost and Found, located inside the Civic Center administrative offices. To inquire about lost items, please call 405.297.2584 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. If you lose something during the show, please check the Guest Relations office located in the main lobby.
Reserved Parking Don’t fret over parking for your favorite show. Reserve and pay for your parking space prior to showtime! A select number of pre-reserved parking spaces are available in the Civic Center lot (on Colcord south of the main entrance) for each show in the Thelma Gaylord Performance Hall. Cost is $6 per space. You can purchase a reserved space by calling T.H.E. Box Office at 405.297.2264.

Will Call / Tickets Will Call windows are located at T.H.E. Box Office in the Main Lobby for those who need to pick up tickets. Will Call is open 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, or two hours prior to every show time. Lines for high-demand shows may be long. We strongly recommend arriving at Will Call well in advance of the show starting time to ensure you make it to your seats on time. To avoid lines, you may choose our print-at-home ticket options, available through web purchase.
Age Restrictions for Shows: Ticketing for infants may vary for specific children and family performances. From time to time, a performance group may restrict the age at which children can attend. Please make certain to ask your box office representative at time of purchase if there is an age restriction for a particular show or event. Parents/Guardians are also advised to select age-appropriate performances for their children, as refunds cannot be issued.
Cell Phone Policy Light and noise disturbance can hinder the enjoyment of any performance. Out of consideration and safety for performers and fellow patrons, use of cell phones is strictly forbidden during all Civic Center shows. This includes the use of phones for texting or photographic purposes. Individuals caught using their cell phones may be asked to leave the theatre.
Fire Arms. THE CARRY AND USE OF FIRE ARMS OF ANY KIND IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN ANY CITY BUILDING, INCLUDING THE CIVIC CENTER MUSIC HALL. THIS INCLUDES ALL CONCEAL-CARRY AND OPEN-CARRY WEAPONS.
Food and Drink Bottled drinks sold at the Civic Center’s concession stands are allowed in the theatre. Bar drinks are also allowed for select performances. Please check with Civic Center staff to determine in which performances bar drinks are allowed. No outside food or drinks are permitted.
Late Arrivals We strongly recommend that all patrons arrive in their seats 10 to 15 minutes before curtain time. Production companies reserve the right to restrict access to the seating areas after the show begins. Patrons arriving past show opening may be asked to wait in the lobby for a pre-determined period of time until granted entry into the theatre without disturbing other patrons and performers.
Photography and Recording Devices The use of photographic or sound recording devices, including film or digital cameras, digital video recorders, and/or other visual or audio recording devices embedded in cell phones, including cell-phone cameras, is a violation of copyright law and is strictly prohibited. Patrons using these devices during a performance may be asked to leave the theatre. No refunds will be given. In certain instances, patrons may be asked to delete photographs.
Smoking: The Civic Center Music Hall is a smoke-free facility. Cigarette receptacles are located outside the main entry doors on the Civic Center plaza.
Weather Cancellations Should threatening weather occur during a performance, patrons will be instructed by Civic Center staff to take necessary precautions.
In the event significant weather occurs prior to show time, only the performance company or show promoters can cancel a show. The Civic Center does not have the right to cancel any show due to weather. If bad weather occurs, please check the main page of the Civic Center’s website or monitor local media updates for announcements on cancellations or postponements.
